I love Amanda but I don't like at all her new album... but, almost all the people here that say that Simone is better than Amanda.. must listen better this or Cry for the moon.. It's too clear who is the vocal coach in the band... Sadly Simone Simons is overrated, because she is no a good singer.. her classical technique is bad.. she can't be compared with Tarja Turunen, Floor Jansen, Su Ehlers, Lori Lewis or Annlouice Loegdlund ... they are real sopranos..

AMANDA IS NOT SIMONE! Just forget that nonsense. She is a very good singer in her own right, but Tarja and Simone are the 2 most identified standard bearers for the whole genre.Music needs that, otherwise it would remain in obscurity and the artists would go broke. Epica is a template band that others strive to be similar too.Simone is classic.As far as Amanda, her 1st fem metal work is out in just weeks and the band is Trillium.
