The painting is called "The Swing" (French: "Les hasards heureux de l'escarpolette") and was painted in 1767 by Jean-Honoré Fragonard.

@hotwaiter Böhm did not invent the flauto traverso; he 'improved' it to meet certain requirements (at the expense of timbre).

The flute wasn't really the way we see it until Boehm created the transverse flute, which made it much easier to keep in tune and to enjoy - Mozart didn't like the flute as it was in his day because of all the flaws. He wrote this piece, I read, for a flute player who he didn't consider very good actually. I thought that was funny.
