Here is the clean (clean as in, no news anchors/reporters etc..) 2008-2009 New York City Times square ball drop. If you think the quality is poor, it's not my fault really. The source was already bad where I got it (if you can guess where? =) lol, most of you should know where I got it by now anyway). I had used virtual dub to improve it a little. Enjoy!

December 31, 2008-January 1, 2009 Times square ball drop marks the 8th year of playing Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York" and the 4th year of playing John Lennon's "Imagine".

For "Times Square on New Year's Eve 2009", the Wednesday, December 31, 2008 New Year's Eve leading into Thursday, January 1, 2009, Bill and Hillary Clinton pushed the button with the mayor. This was the fourth year they've played "Imagine" in Times Square after Dick Clark's stroke(the show was renamed "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest"), for 2008-2009, the ABC building said its words, "ARE YOU READY?" and "ARE YOU SURE?" during the last 30 seconds of 2008.
