Hmm. Interesting.
I love Claudia, but she's not the most technical of singers. It was Claudia's little wavering imperfections in her vocals that gave Propaganda its wonderful unique sound, and lent a touch of humanity to the machine-perfection of "A Secret Wish". Not sure this cover of Patti Smith really works though.
I wish Propaganda would reform just once more. Look at how well the Trevor Horn Wembley version of Dr Mabuse went. Still awesome after all these years!
