Fantastic music in this game. Great over world theme. One of the best over worlds along with StarOcean 2 over world themes.

@GeminiBreaker I agree completely...There has been a lack of RPGs that give off this feeling as of lately...You should check out Lost Odyssey for the 360. The music gave a similar mysterious feeling as this game's music.

everyone is always saying how the grew up on tomb raider and resident evil..... this is what i grew up on this game was amazing... i still play it to this day

@Schnell0687 I think the original Playstation graphics also bring me back to my childhood. My first Final Fantasy was on the Playstation (VIII) and I picked up VII and IX not long after. When I was younger, I was obsessed with those Playstation RPGs, and when I was younger, things were simpler. You didn't have to worry about cynical politics, grown up problems, or the distant future. My biggest worries were whether or not I would beat the games.
Tales of the Abyss came close though.

When I hear this music, I never want to leave the overworld. This reminds me of why I love RPGs. I can leave this cynical world and go into a fantasy world, as well as back into my childhood when things were so much more simple.
