... after years of silence is my automatic organ built as a part as my training as an architect at Lund Institute of Technology in 1984-85.

The scale is basically the classic 20-note German flute-clock scale from g to e''' (omitting a and b, but adding both f#' and f#")

My own organ, though, is fully diatonic from g to e''', adding f#', g#', f#" and g#" and has two registers, i.e. 8' and 4' (or say 2-2/3' and 1-1/3' ;-)

The piece, I've learned in the meantime, is called "Weisst du Mutter was ich geträumt hab"

  • Player rolls? This currently stores its memory on the barrel as a set of pins. Relocate the barrel by the width of a pin, and you have a different program available. It appears to currently have four or maybe five programs in storage, with room for two or three more. No need to simplify it by converting it to piano vacuum rolls.

  • You should convert this to player piano rolls.

  • Thanks.

  • I happen to have two Flute Clocks; one of which I restored to working/playing order and the other is awaiting restoration. I too, specialize in German Musical clocks and would love to have you contact me regarding this beautiful and well executed two register flute clock. I am very interested in seeing how you have the bellows set up and how it is powered. I too, encourage you to provide more videos showing further detail of the gear set and air delivery mechanism.
