@sushified03 Yes, you're the one that was originally correct. Jenny Hyun released this song b4, under a different title, with her own English lyrics for her own album. The song (album) pretty much did not do well, so she let her company sell the song to SME (it even says this on her website). The Korean lyrics for SNSD's song is completely done by Yuri. thank you.

@aks8824 I didn't say that she wrote the song all by her self. Just saying that it was probably her own story she was telling, since she had written the lyrics before the making of the album. Don't really understand why you're spending your time arguing with me about this though. Lol.

@sushified03 I'm not denying that Yuri wrote the song. But, I am pretty sure she didn't write it all by herself. Jenny Hyun isn't a composer she is a song writer. I am more inclined to believe she wrote it and Yuri added her flavour of lyrics. And allkpop are notorious for mistranslations I would take everything from them with a pinch of salt.

@aks8824 I'm sure she got help with the rhyming and technical stuff like that, but I think the "story" in the song itself was Yuri's. Yuri stated, “I’ve always wanted to personally contribute to the album. Lyrics that I had already written up fit well with our new song, so it was a great chance and opportunity. It was very different watching us perform a song that I wrote, as it almost made me choke up.” - Allkpop
