  • Hmmm... I don't know why, but to me it sounds like the "child" they sing about in the beginning was abused. I think it's because of how it says "bear this child directly into misery" and how you "kiss him with your little, middle, index and ring finger" like he's being smacked or slapped or something...? Lol, I dunno.

  • Actually what i think about when they say "little middle index and ring finger" is when you used to make puttpet and make them kiss by putting your fingers together when we were little

    as this song to me is about creativity and opression of creativity in children
