Al (aka) Blake is a long lost cousin of mine. I haven't seen him since I was 15 years old. I went to see him at the Monterey Jazz Festival with my brothers when he was playing with Hollywood Fats. He was incredible then too. He's like a fine wine... just got better with age. Al if you read this I told my dear old mom, your aunt Ellie, to say hello to you for me when you see her in June.
