Some pictures and video of Erica Matherly with Friesians and her pony Penny. The 2 year old Friesian Gelding she is lunging is Rykkard, owned by Scott and Shelley Kelnhofer. A very nice horse with a good mind, as you will see. He is in training with Shawn Matherly for some groundwork. Erica is now 3 1/2 in this video and she is our pride and joy.

To all of you throwing a fit about her being too small...keep in mind that this video was added to Youtube in 2007....now shut up about it. Nothing bad has happened to her. She's fine. Chill. This video is cute. We can all agree on that.

Very cute, I would water down that arena, that's a lot of dust for a little girl.

Why is Dad not holding the end of the rope? If that horse takes off, that little girl is dead. In a very ugly way.

This is an awesome video! I own 4 Friesians, one being a stud colt. I know how calm and relaxed they are. I would allow any child in the pasture with my horses, and I KNOW the child would be safe! Friesians are know for being GENTLE GIANTS! They are awesome!

It is a very cute video, these people concerned with the horse "killing the child" are ridiculous. Horses can be like dogs. I've witnessed first hand horses go out of their way to not hurt a human or put them in danger. This takes good training and a good relationship. you can see that this all there.
