The film was intentionally done in a camp style. Pretty much each little bit of silliness, stupidity, absurd naivity and poor taste is the entire reason why this film became a "cult classic".
The utter lack of humor you try to "tear apart" this "bastard" would be entertaining if it weren't so eyeroll-inducing.
