Please! You already had a president who thought science is bad! Out of 300 mln people, I'm sure the USA can come up with a candidate who is not an a55hole, is not deeply corrupted - and is at least moderately scientific literate! Scientific advancement seems to be the best way to salvation for the USA...

Olbermann didn't talk about Dr. Paul, he asked questions. His guest spoke mostly about McCain & only briefly mentioned Dr. Paul.

@papabungle My comment was a little smartassed. My point is his religous belief has nothing to do with his politics. Fact of the matter is he's the only person in american politics not guilty of treason. I prefer to look at the fact that he believes in the greatest constitution ever drafted and has always voted consistently.

Think about this; Ron Paul studied medicine during the biggest boom in evolutionary and biological knowledge. It was during this era we unlocked the human genome and countless scientific literature was being written on the subject and woven into our medical studies and this man STILL does not believe evolution accurately describes the nature of biological organisms. That shows an UNBELIEVABLE inability to analyze evidence.

@farrier616 I find your statement ironic given that Ron Paul is a gynecologist, not an economist or a ambassador, meaning he should be fairly well learned on aspects of biology and Texas has chosen him to represent them in deciding economic and foreign policy. This man is a medical doctor who doesn't believe the theory of evolution, the cornerstone of modern medicine in fighting viruses, and bacteria among countless helpful practices.
