@z3al0t12 Well, I know something of the NHS having lived here for forty years. Both my parents were saved from cancer by the NHS, and I also broke my wrist in 2005 while working in Scotland. I was seen right away by a local GP in a tiny town called Braemer, who sent me to hospital. I was then at Aberdeen Hospital two hours later having an x-ray, then had my wrist/arm put in one of those tech micro-casts they use nowadays as soon as the results came through. MRI scan for a broken arm, my arse.

your right our system is very very very skewed.. its wrong and immoral... but the "universal healthcare" obama wants is not the same as we think... It's a corporate healthcare system.. its very beneficial to the insurance companies and seems to discard the needy sick.. ron paul has a wonderful way to solve our current healthcare system right now... He wants GOV to stay out of healthcare... everytime gov. intervenes they seem to make the situation so much worse

I'm sorry you had a bad experience but that really is not how it usually is) . If it was that bad why do over 90% of British people support the NHS? I'm sure I could find similar stories from the US or any country. When I broke my wrist I was treated within a couple of hours and when I needed a test for cancer I got it the next day. The NHS is flawed but it's still far better than the disgraceful US system where people are left to die because they can't pay. The US system is evil.

Im from the UK and healthcare is dreadful, having grown up in Canada, lived in the UK, and now reside in the US i can promise you that healthcare is better BY FAR in the US, I broke my arm in the UK, they gave me a sling and told me to wait 4 months for an MRI, later my family moved to the US where i broke my arm for a second time, guess what, ONE WEEK later I got an MRI and they discovered I had a bone cyst. govt. run HC is HELL
