I don't remember any Anime having such symbolization. The Personas created by bonding with the People symbolizing the Friendship Yu has, thus proving he's not empty. Against a guy who has no life hiding behind a gaming avatar with his Shadow symbolizing his immature empty self. An ode to life itself. I applaud the animators.

This is one of the most emotional episodes in my opinion. It was kind of confusing at first, the way they added a kind of alternate reality from the game at one point, but it all made sense in the end XD This part as particularly badass.
