This is a video I created after I had completed installing a trailer lift in my garage that I had engineered. It allows me to have the utility of a truck for my car, without taking up much space in my garage. It turned out better than I had hoped. As you can see in the video, I added 4 additional static safety lines.

  • Got them at tractor supply company. It's a farmer's supply store in Michigan. I don't know what they are called, but they are L shaped brackets that interlace and hook each other the the corners. Works very very well and the trailer sides are rock solid.

  • What fasteners did you use to have the wooden sides fit together at the corners? Great setup!

  • That's awesome. I used to do something quite similar with a boat, had it suspended in the ceiling of the garage. Nice setup you've got there though. Really nice.

  • Cool, how can i do that?

  • I wouldn't call it a truck. But very nicely built.

  • Probably the best home improvement I've ever seen!!!
