a beautiful old 16mm film about Matisse's work, using only his words and Satie's piano music. Technicolor! The sound of sprockets is an added bonus. Enjoy!

  • Thank you for the comments. I dig 16mm academic films and have worked in the past with the academic film archive. This film is very rare and was processed in Technicolor. I stole the impressions from my movie screen and transferred them to digital video. YouTube is the bomb- now I can share these tresures. Next film I share will be: La Jetee, seminal French Sci-Fi film from 1961.
