This was the first time I had ever been to a race track and my first time to drive the car. The car has the stock 3.27 gear ratio and an AOD, the worst possible combination for drag racing. It was 101 degrees with 92% humidity. The car dynoed at 397 horsepower and 399 lbs of tourqe to the rear wheels. It ran a best time of 13.47 later this same day. The AOD went on to last another 900 miles and then blew up.
