I've wondered why do you "scientifically enlightened" do not want to debate science or give scientific arguments anymore.

Your logic of a Christian is having a personal relationship with someone you knew existed, trusted, & loved Him, "open your heart and let Christ (in) and accept Him as (your) saviour" & then "realize" He does not exist. Thus again - you were no Christian

Since you do not wish to debate argumentatively with examples, there is nothing else to say

"the whole bible"? I fail to see how "Jesus wept", "Love thy neighbor", & "God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son" as "racist, sexist," & so on but it's obvious you're just being sneering

Odd for it to be a scientific "fact" yet you can provide no examples proving that or even answers to my own arguement to you against Evolution. It is labeled a "theory" because it is an answer to a natural phenomenon as the best conclusion from the available evidence thus is not a "fact"

I don't need to give an example. the whole bible is one. that wasn't my main point.

I DON'T expect you to believe in evolution. It isn't something you believe in. It is scientific fact with more proof than other scientific theories.

I was at one point very christian. In John it says to be a christian you open your heart and let christ and accept him as you saviour. I did just that. For years. But suddenly I realised how false religion (most) is. I also disagree with many views.

Science is the study of the universe, but theories that expect me to believe that cells with the sophistication of computers came about by chaos is fantasy not science

You were a false convert not a Christian who is someone with a personal relationship with Christ trusting & loving Him thus you would never have left Him or us(1 John2:19)

The main point here is: you DON'T believe it. Science isn't something you believe. What matters is what there is evidence for, and evidence shows these things to be true. Science DOES NOT have the answer for everything. Take it from me - I used to be a devout christian until I realises the goodness of HUMANS rather than the belief of something. Just because something 'looks' well designed, doesn't mean it has a creator. Nature is amazing.

In the end, you're saying you have faith in science not science itself

While studying how the simplest of single celled organisms are sophisticated as a computer, you expect me to believe hundreds of genes, the decoding mechanism & syntheses between DNA, RNA, & proteins; protein shaping, which takes a super computer a year to do yet a cell takes a few seconds - came about of chaos?

i completely agree with you. I find it so much more amazing to know that life came out of chance (we don't currently know how exactly - but we don't need to believe in a god to substitute what we don't know), than trusting a book that is outdated, racist, sexist, offensive in the modern day society, and written by people when we didn't KNOW science. That is basically what genesis is.

If you also used common courtesy & read the description or read the two annotations reminding you to do so, you would notice I have terms to accepting or denying comments; none of which say "if you debunk me...". If I did not adhere to them myself, I would be hypocrite

Which did you say you followed? Life being amazing is an observation not a scientific argument to explain how a single cell can do something in seconds that can take super-computers a year to do. If you don't know then you cannot argue one theory absolutely or concretely than another. The Naturalist sneering "GOD DID IT!!" remark is saying something that is as sophisticated as a computer that will not work without each segment working properly together was put together by an intelligent designer

Yes, the sneering demeanor of Naturalists precedes you, sir, yet none of those "summed up" statements is an explanation for the Evolutionary view but it's nice someone calling us "science-mockers" would choose to answer with sarcasm over science

Naturalists still tend to use the "98% DNA similarity with monkeys" argument(which dropped to 88-90% in 2006); accordingly is said we are merely "advanced apes" but it's also nice when Naturalists contradict or debate over their "proven fact"
