@cardonaedgardo Most rap music nowadays is simply about being rich. If anything they are capitalist anthems. I personally don't like a lot of mainstream rap music because I think it's lame but you obviously haven't heard much of it.
And the VAST majority of people who listen to rap music are white and suburban.

I totally agree with Jack on this. Rap music promotes everything but education and self responsibility. Makes you wanna live your life as a thug instead of going to school and become a real somebody. Also, every trouble they cause, every trouble they get into is always somebody else's fault (instead of taking responsibility for their own actions).
