when you go lift weights
take a light jog to get a sweat going.
then when you lift, go for reps of 10-15.
afterwards, drink a tuna, milk and fruit smoothie.
works for me

Try doing explosive weight lift exercises. Like powercleans, they will make you explode when you shoot. I think squats will help you too, since it will make your legs stronger.

man i do heaps of sprints, i train spritns twice a week, three times even, and sooo intense till i got no more, and then i tried to verse my 35 year old uncle with a beer belly, and he beat me by a few feet! and i am a light 135lb guy, why is this, even my cousin beats me, and he doesnt train at all, it really makes me feel like shit!

Doing pull-ups helps alot

Lift weights, work on your explosive power. Then you'll be faster that way. Do sprints too.
