Well, you can at least drive the Lotus Elise on the streets. I don't know if a Super 7 is street legal. And, I've never driven a 7, but I hear it's a hoot on the track.
I just wasn't driving the Lotus much, and I actually like my Suby on the track better. I did like the Lotus quite a bit, but I had an interested buyer, so I dumped it. There will be other cars in the future. It's all about timing.

Just wondering, you don't have to answer if too personal.
In future, If i ever get the money, I am planning on either getting a lotus or Super 7.
Why did you sell the lotus? Insurance too expensive? Not too much power? Too small? lol
Just wondering since I'm looking forward on getting one in future.

Sold the Lotus. Down to the Suby for now. Other cars in the future, though! :)

If you live near a track, there are likely several local clubs that run track events also known as HPDE (High Performance Drivers Education). Look up local chapters of PCA (Porsche Club) and NASA. Oftentimes BMW and Mustang clubs will run events. It's a blast. Highly, highly recommended! :-)

I find it hard to concentrate and push my car without someone else around me. Maybe it's extra motivation, maybe I am just too competitive. Just something about aggressively overtaking someone gives me chills of joy.
