2-6-2 #26 is not going back to Michigan, the 2-8-0 "Big 6" is, the Quincy and Torch Lake engine from Michigan. 26 is still under "negotiations" for ownership.

The big 6 is going back to Michigan, and from what Ive heard its going to a group that will restore it and run it. Its just to big a project for pine creek and too much of a monster for its tracks.

The steam engine that is being prepared for service has never been on the Pine Creek before. It is a 2-6-0 Mogul #46 with a Porter boiler. The #26 is going back to Michigan because it is too heavy for the track and the Shay needs a new boiler.
