Ive been a J.Cole fan since the Come Up and I think the album was amazing, but ppl need to remember that this is his FIRST album. Give him some breathing space. Great rappers did not become great because of the first album they dropped. Give him some time

I'm sorry dude I cant take your review seriously. First you dont know who J. Cole is only that he made a beat for kendrick lamar. I think you shouldve listened to his old mixtapes and EPs to get to know who he was. This album was an 8 in my opinion and it could of been better.

@nickthehater i mean almost half of his songs mention groupies, hoes, girlfriends, etc. etc.... im not saying its bad .. im saying.. friday night lights could've been a better album because the topic is more diverse and more inspirational. There are some songs in sideline story that kind of sound the same.. content wise :)
