Guild Wars - UW SoS Ecto Farm Build [June 15, 2011] solo Rt/N

One of my many 2 ectos runs ^ ^

Attributes:
Channeling: 12 + 1 + 3
Spawning: 9 + 3
Communing: 3 + 3
Curses: 9

Armor:
Insignia: All Radiant
Runes: Superior channeling, spawning, and communing, 2 attunement

Weapon: Any energy staff

Skills:
Armor of Unfeeling
Vampirism
Bloodsong
Signet of Spirits
Enfeebling Blood
Spirit Boon Strike
Summon Spirits
Painful Bond

This build is meant for speed farming axxte and skelo for ectos in the underworld in normal mode. 1-2 ectos per run, ususally 1 ecto. 3-4 min per run. Don't take the quest. Set the spirits, use armor of unfeeling, and weaken aaxte with enfeebling blood. This will also aggro the aaxte. Once attacking the spirits, hex them with painful bonds and use spirit boon strike as a form of heal and dmg. Repeat armor of unfeeling and enfeebling blood to ensure the aaxte deal minimal dmg to the spirits.

If more experienced, summon spirits is not necessary. Replace it with another spirit or "finish him", or necrosis( recommended ) for even faster clear.

If you want to farm smites, replace painful bond with spirit of disenchantment.(Not recommended. I tried it and the ectos gained per minutes spent is much slower than this run)

P.S. This build also works with hard mode aaxte. Much slower and I don't see an increase in ecto drops.

Ectos dropped 1:50 and 3:22. Enjoy ^ ^

My whole world just shattered, are you only supposed to farm the first part of the uw and not go through the doors or anything :)

@MegaDeathtrain you can farm else where too. but not worth the time. all you gotta do is take the quest and kill the graspings and ur free to roam all of underworld. Fastest ecto grinding would be to just kill all the aatxe and skeletons and not worry bout the quest

Managed to do a few runs with this build... IMHO it's much harder than the regular UW farming SoS (i wasted like 10k just to get a full run in the first time, but once i got it it was ok). Also it's not that fast - if you can get it down to 3-4 mins... Respect to you, best i managed was 7-8.

For me i usually go as far into the UW following in the Smite crawlers i just stop whenever i die haha
