UPDATE: Another way to remove the tires is actually using needle nose pliers. Dr. Kustom on the forums or xmodslife on youtube actually showed me the easiest way to remove tires.
"The way I take off my drift tires is to get a flat nose pliers, place the wheel of top of the flat nose pliers in the center, adjust the flat nose pliers so that the wheel is wide enough to line up the tire sidewall on to the edge of the flat nose pliers, then grab a nut driver, place it into the center hub on the rim, and push the rim down. That's my way of getting the rim off the drift tire, it works great." - Dr. Kustom aka xmodslife
I found it to be the easiest way to remove drift tires. Instead of a nut driver I use a highlighter to push the wheel through the tire because I don't want all the pressure of pushing the wheel out to be on the center hub. Hope it works out for all the drifters out there!!
Happy Drifting!!!

@pre3tiboii Like model car tires or from some other type of r/c car that isn't an xmod, so it would be a custom rubber tire you'd have to find from something else.

@0WhiteCharisma0 what do u mean by big custom rubber tires??
pre3tiboii 1 month ago
@pre3tiboii Hmm I see. Another thing is to check your tie rod screws. If they drag on the ground, they make your car spin out of control. Also make sure you have your AWD installed correctly. Hold the front tires and floor it. If the rear tires still spin and you hear grinding, you need to space your driveshaft correctly. And as for wheelies, Rear wheel drive, and BIG custom rubber tires :) with 8-25 gearing and a high torque motor, you should be set!

@0WhiteCharisma0 nope i have a streets corvette z06.... i have awd, locked rear differentials, ground fx, race suspension and regular suspension upgrades and this motor idk the name of.....oh and you wouldnt also know the easiest way todo a wheelie on the evo cars would u??? lol sorry for so many questions

@pre3tiboii Oh do you have All wheel drive? I'm still in the process of editing a lot stuff, but if you do, you also need to lock the differentials if you are using a Gen 1, it is so light, you need to lock the differentials to prevent it from spinning out. The easiest way to do this is to take tissue paper, ever so slightly, open the diff up with a screwdriver, and put the tissue paper in the gears and screw it back together. This will lock the diff and you should be good to go!

@0WhiteCharisma0 ohh ok i see.. and also do u have any techniques for easier drifting?? bcuz my corvette has a little to much power and i tried drifting with it with the regular radioshack tires and i keep spinning out of control

@pre3tiboii it's pretty much the same process, but with much higher grit sand paper, but I wouldn't recommend it. It'll heat up and I think it could get bent or warped easily, but the same with normal plastic wheels. I definitely recommend going with mini-z wheels though, they are much better overall, lighter, and more narrow with more offsets. Overall, a better wheel choice :)

@pre3tiboii Oh and remember to take your time, I HIGHLY stress that. I can't remember how many times I've ruined things over the years from being impatient lol
