  • Aw I knew that The Game would win. Some might argue that it won since one of the judges voice acted in it but it was still the best. I never saw the Cheese Chase untill just now and that was really funny! I rushed my entery and had to turn it in unfinished :( It was far from my best but it was my first REAL video. This contest taught me a lot about animation so thank you AniExersize! And congrats to the winners! I want to see what you build with the bricks you won!

  • No, none of the judges voiced in The Game.

  • helloooooo

  • Oh...that explains it. Thanks! Looking forward to the next contest!

  • Although I didn't make the video, I know there was some waiting on a few details from the sponsors. Also VN was out of town for a while, and the judging process took some time.

  • Cool! Thanks for emailing. If you had just a little of your two replies in this video...It would have helped me to understand why you picked him. I do admit that the sets were good.

Question: Why did it take you guys so long to put out a 43 second video with just titles?

  • nice work guys, any ideas when the next comp will be coming up

  • "Cheese Chase," by contrast, had extremely detailed sets, which gave it an edge in presentation, very smooth and polished animation, which gave it the edge in animation, and a very unique take on the "chase scene" theme, which gave it a strong score in creativity. These judging criteria were clearly stated beforehand so regardless of what entry was the most fun to watch, I think Cheeseybricks' entry was one of the best suited to the purpose of the contest.

  • The Green Beatle was entertaining, and good enough to be one of 9 finalists selected out of over 200 entries, but as the video description on the video itself states, it is a very literal, almost cliché approach to a chase scene. The sets were very minimal and though it was one of the more ambitious entries, there are shorter ones with more polished animation work.

  • I didn't really mean that yours didn't have a chase. Sorry it came out wrong. I meant to say that the Green Beatle movie had everything they asked for. The ideal.

Your film had very good stopmotion and sets but in the story department I don't think it stood up against fancypants, thatbobafettguy and others. Don't take it personally. But I'm sure you're excited about winning the contest like I was for Spugesdu's...so enjoy your 50 bucks man! I'm looking forward to the next aniexercise contest.

  • Congratulations to the winners.
