@bammer150 Well, not really man, not the whole gaming world. Its a great series though, and RE4 is my favorite so far. To me, Zelda and Mario did more to the gaming world than RE could ever done.

i remember, after re code veronica people where getting bored with the games so capcom made an evolution to the game making re 4 and 5 with plagas instead of zombies but keeping the storyline and the characters (wesker, chris, jill, leon...) now people complain that it's not scary and it doesnt look like 1,2,3 and CV, sooooo capcom is gonna release RE revelations and operation raccoon city with no plagas and full of zombies. i hope you people will stop moaning after

RE4/ 5 opted for a more action-based approach. The original RE4 idea (the 'Hook Man' version) was more like the early games. Games to have to develop or else they become stale. CVX was too similar to the first three games, so they went with a different approach to RE4.
