A Symphony of Colors (Part 1)

My name is Suddha Basu and I am an artist based in Sunnyvale, California. I paint in oils and pastels in the traditional style.

I consider painting as not only a way to express nature or an emotion, from the artist to the viewer, but also as a mode of communicating with one's own self. The creator, through the process of a painting, tries to understand nature, his own mind, and then puts together the response to all impulses from his mind and body on the canvas.
