@DjFrewd I have many opinions on serveral things. Yes, they have the right to use signs. Actually, you personally have the right to be nazist. As long as you don't intentionally walk around in an uniform hailing to hitler. You have the right to sue people for ridicoulus amounts of money in the USA. And in some places, you have the right to fuck with animals. All these things are utterly stupid. I have opinions on it, just as I do toward the mandarin language. I like change to the better
-
@sharmanti I don't deny it's easier to learn, but still I think your comment wasn't fair. And does it really matter who made the different aplhabets? The only one thing I said and what I stand up for is the fact that they have the right to do what they want, and in this case using their letters. Why do you even bother?
-
@DjFrewd Latin alphabet, not english. Also, yes, Mandarin have an option to type in paying (or what it's called) which is, simplified: their signs translated into an alphabet.Yes, it's better with an alphabet. Why? I'll tell you: Easier to learn, dosen't consist of alot of letters and every letter represents something you can pronounce. The signs in mandarin isn't pronounced, the sign just sounds that way for no apparent reason. It's not even logical. Also the mandarin alphabet is made by us
-
@sharmanti And it is of course better to have a alphabetic language, but Chinese and Japanese etc does also have an alphabetic writing option. You ever thought of that they're thinking their language is better? What is the argue? Now tell me what is so much better with the english alphabet than the exact same Chinese aplhabet for example. The only thing that takes those apart is how the words are built and how they sound and look like.
-
@DjFrewd What does the amount of people using something have to do with that? Latin letters were originally developed from an similiar type of typing, using hieroglyphs. Such as the Egyptians used it. Correct me if i am wrong but, Mandarin looks/seems like it never have been developed into a more advanced typed language. I mean, Arabs, Russians. They all got letters that represent sounds, not symbols. It's seriously bad when a language got around 7000 characters
haha the boat even says gladiator on the back, LIKE A BAWS
