And if you listen the words, you feel empathetic towards the prostitute. Prostitutes are people, too with feelings and troubles. That's the point of the song.

Wish this was an actual anime movie. Cause if you notice at the end of the clip when the mistress turns around another man is standing there behind her. Maybe someone who loves her? Or that she loves, who caught her in the act???
