Nick Jonas takes to the stage all by himself-we're recapping his first big show. That's all up next on ClevverTV.

Hey guys-I'm Joslyn Davis welcoming you back to ClevverTV. It's a new year for all of us, and even Nick Jonas is taking a big leap with his new solo career. Nick Jonas and his band, The Administration, just did their first show at the House of Blues in Dallas, and the reviews across the board are looking very good.

Fans and industry insiders were really interested to see just what exactly Nick would be like on his own. One major newspaper reported that "the first five songs of the 16 or so in the hour-and-a-half concert IMMEDIATELY showcased a more mature side of the 17 year old. Who knew he had a a fantastically limber voice...and a Prince-like falsetto?" The paper then went on to say what a lot of fans at the show were probably thinking-that was that "one can only hope that Jonas' side project attracts the broader audience it deserves."

Judging from the huge crowd he attracted in Dallas, it doesn't seem like Nick will have trouble drawing fans in. The concert was a mixture of original songs and covers, including "Fireflies" by Owl City and "Use Somebody" by Kings of Leon. Nick actually forgot a whole verse to "Fireflies," but he laughed it off and asked the crowd to help him out with the lyrics.

Apparently Nick also shared some very heartfelt words with the crowd between songs and talked about some of the things he's been going through and how love is never free or determined. He thanked the fans for believing in him and said that 2010 would be a year of no fear!

And that was just the first stop for Nick Jonas on his solo tour. It's still being called a side project, but do you guys think that he'll ultimately become a solo artist? Give us your predictions for Nick's career below.

im glad hes having fun with the solo project, but im sacred the jonas brothers r in dnager. cuase not only that kevin just got married so u know.................

I think the Jonas Brothers will always be there and together. Cuz I mean they are brothers and such, so they can alwas make music. But, they might want to branch out, and Nick could become a Solo, Joe will do whatever he wants and Kevin might wanna settle down since he's married now too!
