*STEREO*. Richie Allen & The Pacific Surfers play "Surf Man", from their 1963 album 'Surfer's Slide'. Actually, the band name was an alias for guitarist Richie Podolor, Allen being his second given name.

Thanks. The drumming gives it a bit of a 'native indian' sound. I find myself a few "huhs" and "hahs".

Where in the world did you dig-up this LP from, SB ? I've never heard of this band. But I wish I had. This is very, very good quality music. This sound ranks right up there with the very best of any early 60s surf-instrumental tune & likewise any such group whom I've ever heard of. Definitely an addition to my Favourites List. Congrats, sir - an excellent posting.
