http://www.pointblankonline.net/cubase-course.php In this series of exclusive videos Danny J Lewis (Defected, Enzyme Black) presents the first available tutorials on the new features in Cubase 6. Although not C6 specific the Arpache SX makes a good demo in the new version. Featuring musical data from Trance Legend Mike Koglin.

  • i really want to start producing music but i dont know where to begin. and how much money would i have to spend?

  • @jasonh213 Hi Jason. There are a lot of factors which affect the decision of how much to spend when you start producing. These days it is possible to get quality equipment and produce professional results without breaking the bank. It is also certainly worth investing in knowledge as well as equipment. If you want some advice our course advisors would be happy to help. Get in touch either on luke [at] pointblanklondon [dot] com or call +44 (0)20 7729 4884

  • Stop Guys ! I have a question . Whe we use it Arpache , it makes Arp and then is it possible that it will be show like that as original notes line

  • right click merge midi in loop? I'm not seeing that. I just get my tools.

  • Superb set of Cubase 6 tutorials - Thanks. This has shaved hours of reading through PDFs and scratching my head!

  • @BornToRaveRecords logic works too, i was assuming he was running a pc

  • @ShaneYnclan Logic?

  • @jasonh213 more money than wat u ve got scum

  • @jasonh213 you want a DAW (like cubase here, also known as a sequencer), a computer (hopefully at least a dual core cpu 2 gigs of ram 7200 rpm hd), and an audio interface (this outputs sound to your headphones / monitors) I'm assuming you already have headphones.

An entry level interface will run you about 199.

the Software (DAW) will be between 199 - 599 depending on features. Once you become more advanced, trust - you'll want the advanced ones.

    DAW:

    Cubase

    FL

    Reason

    Ableton

    Protools
