  • Ok this maybe a stupid question. Ive got a full bolt on/head/cam/intake 95 5.0. Its fine but at idle the rpms will shooot from about 1200 to about 200 and die. Im getting a chip in a couple days but just in case that does not work can you explain in more detail how to do this? Ive had one 3.8(S/C) and three 4.6's but this is my first 5.0 and fairly new to 5.0s. i tried setting the RPMs manually but that did not work. But how do I dumb the adaptive learning?? Im used to SCT & dyno tunes sorry

  • @str8lucks2000GT Custom chip burning...

Do you know if your car has a chip in it now? Go check out Mustang-Town(dot)com and post up in the 94-95 SN95 section...

  • @NedacFilms The Mustang being dynoed at 0:33, would you happen to know what exhaust setup that is? It sounds so crisp, yet so mean. 10x better than Flowmasters!

  • @Coolio56ification I can find out for you... or you can probably also google search Kent Lydic's email, who is the Camaro-Mustang Challenge Racer who owns that particular Mustang...

  • The best video so far explaining tuning issues with the SN-95! I just wish there where videos of Quarter Horse. Ex. explaining step by step of adjusting AFR, fuel trim, MAF transfer, timing, open loop vs closed loop tuning etc..

  • @stuff474 Quarterhorse is definitely where its at. Worth every penny and then some. Big learning curve but if you stick with it and be patient you have total control over every aspect of the computer.

  • Great advice, thanks! Keep it dumb!

  • @NedacFilms I actually have an SCT chip on order. Will be here friday

  • im still struggling with a tune on my 1995. gt40 crate and my wideband at part throttle is pegging lean and dropping back non stop , car bucks like a bitch. still wont idle....surges and stalls. This is after a 650$ tune. i would have been better off tuning it myself with quarterhorse or something similar.

  • I'll try that!
