This is a hate crime by a police officer. There is no doubt in my mind the obviousness of the intentional misbehavior and power trip of this officer.
How many other times do you think this same police officer has abused his power as a police officer (specifically toward African American people).
Thankfully this officer choose someone to abuse that was an athletic figure that had the ability to speak up and people listen.
Fire him, jail him or Let him abuse his "powers" as a mall guard.

sweetie, some advice: no one will ever take your opinion seriously if you bring the discussion down to childish insults and name-calling.
now, what i was commenting on is the video i saw, not the media punditry. i saw/heard an officer wasting precious time in order to needlessly exercise authority. he even spent 6 minutes of moats' time chitchatting with a bystander. that's completely unacceptable. if you don't realize that, you're a very irresponsible citizen.

Lets C....He ran a red light, ran over 2 stop signs, jumps out of the car and starts shouting to the officer...How many times did the police officer ask him to calm down? Officer powell did nothing wrong but his job!

Lecturing? take out your ear wax! The cop was doing his job by pulling over someone who had broken the law! How many times did the cop tell Moates to "Calm Down." Moates was disrespecting the officer and he's lucky that they didn't put him away! The only reason Y they appologize is because everyone is making this to be a racial bullshit! the issue isn't the ticket, the issue is the ego-manical lecturing, wasting this poor guy's time with the touting off of all of the power he has but will be so kind as to not act on. there is a reason his police department came out so quickly and publicly denounced that behavior as embarrassing. he was wrong. and so are you.
