@notofthisworld33 Its about the passing off the torch. Alvin Ailey left his company to Judith Jamison and she just passed it down to Robert Battle. The whole piece shows this more clearly

what's anointed? I liked the dancing,but when i think of anointed i think of God instantly.Is this supposed to be a praise dance?It was nice regardless,just the title made me take a look.
