  • @Grawpify Tell me of the 'terrorist tactics' Israel employs.

A democratic government will not survive in that region, especially when those in power are only interested in spending all their money on missiles and arms to kill as many Jews as possible.

  • @mauritius69 who cares about your fake democracy and human rights ,you r based on lies ,your history is full of shit ,a country based on occupation ,kill ,demolish Palestinians houses and build new settlements ....you call the victims terrorists ,shame on you ,you are the terrorist ,I'm a gentile and proud to be.

  • @Jeansschwimmer Was that German film crew able to document the cause of it? Or, do u all merely ASSUME that the cause is nefarious Israeli action? The local farmers have no control over water allocations. The Water Authority does. The UN verifies that Israel provides more water to the Arabs than the agreements call for. Perhaps the cause of the withered field has nothing to do w/water availability or the Israelis. Such a possibility would never occur to u, would it? I pity YOUR neighbors.

  • @Jeansschwimmer Samaria & Judea were never very fertile. They're the mountain spine of the region. Deforested by generations of Arabs, any land not already under cultivation became barren. Land that had formerly been kibbuztim was restored to a semblence of fertility by decades of back breaking work by 1000s of Jews. Nothing was stolen from the Arabs. Not one of u folks harping about "stolen land" can ever name any Arabs whose land was stolen. Y is that? Surely such info is in the public record.

  • @Jeansschwimmer - 40% of the WB is under Isareli ADMINISTRATION. Only about 3% is taken up by Israeli communities. Not 1 sq. cm. of that 3% was owned by Arabs. Much of it had been Jewish owned b4 '48. The rest was govt land, owned by the Ottomans til 1917, then the Britsh Mandate admin., then the Jordanian govt., then the Israeli. Arabs who owned land that Israelis tried to muscle in on, went to court, won their cases, & got their land back. Name the Arabs who owned those barren hilltops.

  • @Jeansschwimmer - In the American Revolution, about as many Americans fought for the British as against them. Why is it we hear no more of these people after 1783? The answer is; they fled to the UK & Canada. Why would anyone want a hostile population in their midst? The Arabs had a choice. Live in peace w/the Jews in the new state, rise up against it, which many did, or leave. the ones who left voted w/their feet. They didn't want to live in a Jewish state, they got their wish. They don't.

  • @Bobtheother Absentee ownership law in Israel. First the refugees could not come back, therefore they could not claim their property and then it got confiscated. Israel legal thinking.

40 % and more of the Westbank are now in Jewish/Israeli hands, do not say that all of this land was without anybody who used it ( most of it is fertile land).

Israel has only admitted to have taken possessionof the barren hilltops for the houses, but the real area stolen is bigger.

  • @Bobtheother ''You know that the Arabs do not get the water you need.

I just remember the images on TV. to the left of the fence a dark green orange grove, to the right of it wrinkled up veggies. Which one was the Arab's field?

That was on German TV and do not say that our TV is careless about anything that could speak against Israel. The risk is too high.

If I was treated by my neighbour like that, I might want to slit his throat as well.

It is not about self-defense, it is theft.

  • @andreoslo1985 - The only restriction on the movement of Arabs in Hevron is that they r kept out of the Jewish enclave. The IDF is only keeping 2 hostile groups of people seperate, to avoid violence. Seems quite reasonable to me. Sure, the check points r a serious nuisance to the Arabs. But, those check points, & the wall, have reduced Jewish fatalities by Arab terrorism by over 90%. That proves the necessity. When the Arabs renounce terrorism, the check points & wall will b dismantled. Not b4.

  • @Jeansschwimmer The destructive actions you mention were punishment for for acts of terrorism. The local Arabs, as well as Jordan, get more waer from Israel than Israel is required to give under international agreements. So, no water is stolen. "And, and, and, " what? What else do those terrible Israelis do to those poor innocent Arabs who want nothing more than to peacefully slit Jewish throats?

  • @Jeansschwimmer - Every Arab who owned land prior to 06/67 owns it still. This isn't about ownership, its about sovereignty. The local Arabs NEVER HAD SOVEREIGNTY. For 1300 yrs it was ruled by the Turks. For 19 yrs it was ruled by the Jordanians (who have since, relinquished any claim of sovereignty). Jews also lived there until forced out at gun point by the Jordanians in '48. So, I ask again, how is their claim of sovereignty any more valid than the Jewish claim? Please expain.

  • @Bobtheother

You know that this is not the truth.

Before 1967 Israel was kept out of the region by the Jordanians and after June 1967 it was the first thing the Israelis did to make it impossible for the Arabs to claim possession of theirr own land ( a policy that is based on the absurdities of the ottoman land law).

Israel uproots trees, burns olives groves, bulldozes wells, steals the water, and, and, and.
