RMX Stahltier with Vromb music from "Rayons" album..made by VJ Bolverk
"Das Stahltier" (1935) directed by W. Zielke
The expensive film, made for the 100th anniversary of the German railroad, was not shown in 1935! Reichspropagandaminister Goebbels didn't like it at all, because much of the time is devoted to English railway pioneers like William Hedley and George Stephenson. Finally the release came 20 years later.
I'm with nederland4045: Great film. Obscenely wrongheaded musical choice. Unfair to the film and unfair to VJ Bolverk.

Great movie, HORRENDOUS "music".
Put some 1930s tunes under it.

The director Willy Zielke worked for Leni Riefenstahl, and directed most of her movies.
When he demanded that his name should be mentioned, and not hers, she sent him to a madhouse ehere he was castrated and under permant death thread.
He still was forced to work for her that way.
After WW II he became a professor and tried to sue Riefenstahl, but as the doctors and judges that had sentenced him all spoke against him, his case was finally closed, though he was awarded some compensation.
