Animal Planet brings viewers into a world dominated by ferocious rivalries, fierce bonds and extraordinary risk as it documents the behind-the-scenes lives of jockeys and their magnificent racehorses. It is a world ruled by 112 lb. men (or less) on 1,200 lb. Thoroughbreds - equipped with oversized personalities and big dreams. JOCKEYS follows numerous athletes as they compete amongst each other during the course of a 30-day racing season.

I feel so bad for the horses. I ride to but I ride saddleseat and to ride on the kentucky derby racetrack would be really fun and cool especially if your horse can rack!

Actually they want a jockey to be under 115, not so much 110, but the lighter the better.

They won't not let you ride if you are over 115, but trainers don't like it.
