Machines for believing in....

My project concerns the decisions that are made, around and in our perception of our everyday lives; the actions that one chooses not to take, objects chosen, people chosen to interact with, and so on, due to the beliefs held by an individual. We can see that these beliefs are tools that enable us to engage with the world, and wrestle with existence, and meaning.

The work I am doing, acts to question this. I aim to create a dialogue between these beliefs and ourselves, we can begin to realise learned truths, and how they mediate our world view. And inevitably, in creating these outcomes, new beliefs, and perceptions are fostered around the outcomes.
