Ubuntu doesn't truly capture the whole idea of free software. If it has incorrect drivers it automatically installs the proprietary software it needs to get everything working perfectly. At least with Debian (which now claims to be 100% free) you get to make the choice yourself.
Not hating on Ubuntu, in fact it's what I'm using right now. Just saying that Ubuntu users who think they are hard core Linux enthusiasts need to think about this.

Watching on my Ubuntu 10.4 laptop. Which I got for free as the Windows o/s was all crapped up and unusable to the previous owner.
As has been said before, Linux FTW. :-)
