Here is his response. He wasn't able to see this youtube video though since he can't use youtube on the ship.
"H1N1 has affected some ships. We actually had a small outbreak at the begining of our deployment on the REAGAN. It has kept a couple of ships from getting underway and kept others from pulling into some foreign ports, but other then that I haven't heard of any significant deaths or other effects. The only other way it has affected us is that we all have to get vacinated for it. "

I am trying to get verification from my friend who is on one of the Navy ships currently out at sea, but so far I haven't heard back from him.

If anyone knows the facts on this they must be posted. We need names, dates, locations. It isn't that I think this is a hoax but, I need proof. I'm still not getting the vaccine but, that's my choice. I've only received a flu shot once and it was the ONLY time in my entire life that I actually had a flu that lasted more than 24 hrs. The 3, that's right 3, other times I had the flu it never lasted more than 24 hrs. So, they might not have even been the flu...
