People don't analyze big numbers all that well.
Take the 4 largest US health insurers. Add up all payments made to shareholders plus all executive pay. It's a BIG number. So now divide that by the HUGE NUMBER of their insured people.
The total cost per insured is just $67 per person per year.
Rip off? Cost effective? Can the government do this job for the same price? You decide.

I totally agree, in fact I have always felt that one term is enough for any politician. The Founding fathers actually had JOBS and they did those jobs when Congress didn't have anything else to do. The current Congress and President do not have other jobs, they have made politics their job, and that is never a good thing. No politician should be allowed to serve more than one

It sure would be nice of just ONE press corp person had the courage to ask hard questions. Get along...go along...or loose your job...that is the rule of government.
Government is force. People who seek to use government to fund their beliefs are criminal thugs. No government employee should have a pension or health care. They should be paid, and then fund both like the private sector does. Term limits for gov employees and elected officials. I don't want your product. Put the gun down.
