i saw a flag stick on a recumbent trike that was a light and it changed colors, it was a safety and aesthetics combined

Looks like a GX fairing, if so there is some light mouts available for it which can be mounted on the side.

What is the gizmo mounted on the crossbar of the fairing mount?

How adjustable is this fairing? From the video it looks like there is quite a bit of room between your knees at their highest point and the fairing. Are you able to bring it down closer?

How does the Cattrike compare to an upright road bike, speed wise?

looks like lots of fun , Are you completely under the fairing ? it,s kind of hard to tell from the video .
I love the fairing but cant spend the money for one I'm working on a poor mans version , I live in seattle and want something to keep the rain off it is no fun laying down in the rain , I post a vid when I get something mocked up and put on the trike .

actually the opposite is true. The cross bar is no more of an annoyance than a windshield wiper going by on your car in a light rain. You just block it out after a while. What you see in my video is not actually what I see in the cockpit since i had to hold the camera a bit higher. I am actually looking through and below the top cross bar where my computer is mounts. the fairing makes a large difference in so many ways I would never ride without one. especially one that tilts open.

it is very comfortable. It is not too bad to do that distance when well rested for the ride.
