fishies have etyl-mercury in them. the one used in vaccines is metyl-mercury, which is artificial

If the brain has a certain toxic quantity of inorganic or organic mercury or aluminum, yes you might have chemical toxicity in the brain.
And yes, certain chelation can be used to remove that toxic quantity in order to have non-toxic quantity. This chelation medication must be used according to the type of chemical you want to remove. This means that you'll need to use different chelation types and methods for organic or inorganic forms of mercury or aluminum.
-
That actually doesn't answer the question. Does chelation have an effect on brain toxicity, for instance if the brain has aluminum or mercury present in it? I claim it does, so do many other people.
-
chelation has an effect of removing certain molecules or ions. Even if the quantity of those chemicals are not in toxic doses.
chelation does remove chemicals in order to avoid toxic dose if toxicity is present
-
"poison is only poison in toxic doses. This is actually not very important. "
errr--- wrong
actually it is important... as the very definition of poison is related to dose toxicity
-
Wasn't your original point that chelation has no effect on brain toxicity?
-
Just that lower level effects should be said to be the result of toxicity. You said poison is only poison in toxic doses. This is actually not very important.

Ivan the Terrible and China's first emperor, Shi Huang Di, both suffered mercury poisoning later in life. It caused both to become paranoid. Ivan became prone to violent outbursts, while Shi became delusional and developed an obsession with the idea of immortality.

Indeed - but Hwangdi took mercury on purpose - he thought it would extend his lifespan. It did the opposite.

OMG, that was so disturbing....GREAT JOB you guys. Really an eye-opener. Recently I had silver amalgam placed in 2 of my teeth and since I've experienced digestive issues, I've been thinking of taking them out, but am worried that taking them out, might disrupt all the mercury that 'settled' in my body. My first filling was back when I was 8. Since then I've had some pretty intense emotions as well, thinking this might be the cause of it. thanks for posting.

You might want to look up more on fillings. It's a pretty contentious subject.
