ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh WHERE IS THE V8

Even though this was at 20 mph, its not bad, most people would only drive this car at 30mph max, and this newer model is much safer than the older one shown in previous crash tests, so even at 40mph, it would be much better in a crash. But it is still a great car just for commuting for people who do less than 15-20miles a day.

The test took place at 'only' 20mph cause the G-wiz couldn't go faster xD
-
that test was too bloody slow!!!
-
this test was at 20-25 mph, much less than the 40mph test euroncap uses, plus this is a full frontal, offset tests are much more demanding of a vehicle's structure

get a golf bluemotion clean diesel which is safe, reliable, well built and can get 85mpg

That was a very feeble crash test. Only 20mph? I would pass that test myself! (Well ok, maybe not, but I digress).
I bet a proper crash test would leave N-CAP cutting the crash test dummies out in 3 seperate sections like they had to with the outgoing wiz.

The national press reports that this test took place at 20mph, that is half the speed of the NCAP test and the test wasn't even an offset impact. To put this in perspective a 1970s car was expected to pass a 30mph head on crash test.
The Riva is basically a disgrace it brings no new technology to the party and it is about as advanced as a milk float. The Tesla and the forthcoming Chevy Volt will both sail through the NCAP test, and the new electric Smart car gets 4 stars at the moment.
