Hostorically, both Peron ans her family were present at the moment of death. When creating a dramatic work, it is useful to take poetic lisence, sometimes. The impact is stronger. But Peron had really distanced himself and used her for propaganda because of her popularity..

Eva Peron, in her last months, was desperate to keep Peron close to her. He in turn had become jealous of her popularity, by far stronger than his, and really had no pity during her death. She died alone.

Wow..shear amazement...I did this show in 2003 as one of the Generals, and principal dancers and often rehearsed for the Buenos Aires portion using the Montage section. This is a wonderful production and capture of Evita!  Kudos!

Did Eva die alone or with her mother, siblings and Peron? You say both. Which one was it?

@RobertdeWarren that is exactly true. However, when she died, Peron was at her bedside. Her mother and siblings were there too.

the only thing i don't like about it,

is the fact that she is portaryed at parts, as so clingy and dependant.

eva peron was anything but that!

and the fact that peron seems so indifferent to her.
