We are now at an art exhibition of a well-known artist, Veerachan Usahanun in Jungceylon. Lets go see what he and his arts have to offer?
The art exhibition is called The miracle of Ganesha, which consisted of 12 paintings of Ganesha in different divine forms. The painter is a Thai artist, Veerachan Usahanun, who has a strong belief in the spirit and power of the Hindu god Ganesha, an elephant headed deity. He is the god of obstacles in life and has been worshipped by the Hindu religion for his supernatural powers and upholding peace by maintaining karmic justice. Veerachan said he is calmed by and creatively inspired by the power of Ganesha; therefore the power he got from the god has urged him to humbly and respectfully paint Ganesha in 12 different forms from his own visions:

There was also an Indian dance show performed by Miss Sejal S. Patel, an Indian contemporary dancer and musical performance by Anand Jagota.

In 2006 and 2007, Veerachan held an art exhibition in Bangkok and it was very successful. He stayed in Phuket working on his paintings and running shows and exhibitions since November 2008 until now.
I asked him why all his painting have to be an elephant headed deity, Ganesha. He told me that he worshipped this deity since he first studied at an art university during 1985 1987. Before this exhibition takes place, Veerachan was in India, Tibet and Nepal, traveling and studying about the god Ganesha ancient background. I asked him where he thinks he would see himself in the future. He told me, he would still be an artist because that is what he wants and it is his passion.
How do you like the artworks?
