Percy at the cat show

Percy competes in his very first cat show. In this video we've made it into the finals for his group (Household Pets as since I adopted him from the shelter he doesn't have papers) We've just found out we're in the top three for this "All Breed" competition (meaning he was up against both long and shorthaired Household Pets) He's in the top two - will he make BEST????

I had two achieve SGM. One achieve QGM. I would probably still show if any of mine would be amenable. They are SO NOT. lol Part of me misses showing, part of me doesn't.

@firecat6232 Yeah Percy got pretty cranky so he was hit or miss at shows. Mocha, meanwhile's the diva in my house. I show Percy once in awhile but moreso as a shill to get the count up LOL

I have not shown in about 8-9 years. I did show in TICA and CFA. We started the first TICA club in the area of Syracuse NY. Our club disbanded several years ago, sadly. Did Percy make title?

@firecat6232 Yeah he earned all the way up to Supreme Grand Master and won a Regional Award as well. But then I renamed him and re-registered him so now he's stuck back at QGM LOL He's officially "Mercy Mercy Mr Percy" now after the line from a Tom Waits song.

Congratulations Percy. This judge is one of my favorite judges. She's such a great cat person. She interacts so well with the cats and their owners.

@firecat6232 Did you show in TICA? My other Café Mocha Valencia was TICA's Best in the Northwest last two seasons. Not this season, though, as we've only done two shows all year.

Congrats! There's nothing better than the judge holding up your cat and announcing, 'This Is My BEST Cat!'  (I showed in HHP for 15 years)
