How much power did it make?
-
I am just wondering.. what is the purpose of an peripheral port? is this an inlet or outlet port? please xplain :)
-
@RubTdi If using rx8 rotors you will have to machine the rotors to accept the rx7 type apex seals, the rx8 seals will not work.
-
Wow sounds like a hour job.. Ill get started now.

i always heard that its useless that an rx8 should be ported because of its restrictive exhaust ports. in my head i always thought "well cant we make them bigger?" i can see that i was right =D thanks for the vid!! totally brightend my face up. R0t@ries 4L!fe!!

@benoitcriss I'm sure it is, Renesis engine doesn't have peripheral exhaust ports. I don't see PP on these housings
-
just because it has peripheral exhaust ports, doesnt mean it isnt...... the MSP housings have the provisions for drilling peripheral exhaust ports and to use exhaust sleeves like the older generation housings have... and it already has the studs for the manifold.
what if these are MSP housings drilled for peripheral intake and exhaust ports?
-
How did you locate the position of the ports to ensure a good overlap?
-
That's not a rx-8 housing
-
funny in the pictures you show non rx8 housings unless you got the 1st ever renisis wit exhaust port on the housings
The RX8 seals are already deeper. goto rotaryeng, net
